- 3. Hibernation
- This is a wood frog. The wood frogs have the amazing ability of freezing themselves during hibernation. This ability was an evolution so they could surivive the winter.
- 4. Cells
- The frog's body senses that winter is coming so it knows it has to find shelter at a safe place and has to start the hibernation proccess.
- 5. The End of the Hibernation
- The frog has found a safe place to stay so now it will start the hibernation proccess.
- 6. The Life of a Frog After Hibernation
- The frog has started the proccess of hibernation and the frog's cells are starting to freeze. If they cells freeze the frog could die, so it creates it's own antifreeze by sending his pee mixed with glucose into it's blood so the blood cells don't freeze.
- Winter has finally come to an end and the frog has come out of hibernation. The frog will take a long awaited pee, and will look for a mate.
- The frog has found a mate, and has reproduced with it's mate and the baby from will go from an egg, to a tadpole, all the way to an adult frog.
