Storyboard Text
- We need a signal fire so we can be rescued. Jack is in charge of keeping it going.
- Kill the pig! Cut her throat! Spill her blood!
- Several boys are stranded on an island. Ralph is elected chief. He decides to have a fire on top of the mountain. A boy tells them that there is a beast on the island. The fire goes out of control and they light the island on fire.
- IT'S THE BEASTIE!
- Jack leaves the fire to go hunting and when a boat comes, it doesn't notice the fire and keeps going. Ralph then has a meeting about making sure everyone does their job. A parachutist lands and dies on the island. Samneric think it's the beast.
- oof.
- Ralph, Roger and Jack climb the mountain and see what they think is the beast, but is really the dead parachutist. Jack decides to form his own tribe and he puts a pig's head on a stick as an offering to the beastie. The pig's head is the Lord Of The Flies. Simon imagines it speaking to him.
- What are you doing?
- Jack hosts a party with all the boys. During this, Simon goes to the mountain and realizes that there is no beast and it was just a man that they saw. But when Simon came back to tell them, they mistook him for the beast and beat him to death.
- Jack's tribe raids Ralph's tribe and steals Piggy's glasses in order to make fire. After this, Ralph's tribe goes to Jack's tribe and Ralph asks for Piggy's glasses back. But instead, they start to fight, and during the fighting, Roger pushes a rock off a cliff, which smashes the conch and knocks Piggy off the mountain to his death.
- Ralph goes back to Jack's camp, but when he comes, he meets the twins, who tell him he should run. Ralph tells them his plan of hiding in a thicket and then leaves. Jack lights the forest on fire to make Ralph come out of hiding. Ralph has to run for his life, and he eventually falls down on the beach, right in front of a naval officer that saves him from the rest of the savages.
