  • In this scene, the jurors take their first vote. 11/12 jurors vote guilty except the 8th Juror votes not guilty because he wants to talk about the case before sending the boy off to die. Each juror gets their chance to speak. Some of the jurors are shown to have a bias against the boy.

  • Testing the Truth
  • I think this is what happened...
  • Forty-two seconds
  • This scene shows when the jurors were testing if what the old man said was true and accurate. They found out that somethings didn't add up, for example, it would have to take 42 seconds instead of 15 for the man to see the boy racing down the stairs.

  • End of Act 1
  • Shut up!
  • You're a sadist!
  • During this scene, Juror 8 and 3 fight because they both have strong opinions in different categories. The fight was triggered by the previous experiment and how Juror 8 was able to convince more jurors to agree with him.

  • Finding Flaws
  • I'm also guessing that she she probably didn't put on her glasses when she turned and casually looked out the window
  • The jury decided to find out the truth because some doubted the woman was telling the truth. She claimed to have seen the killing but she would have needed glasses. After all talking, even more, jurors are convinced he's not guilty.

  • He's not your boy. He's somebody else.
  • All right. Not Guilty.
  • Let him live.
  • Almost finishing Act ll, the jury comes to a unanimous vote. Juror 3 was the most stubborn because of his experiences with his son. Juror 8 finally got to him by telling him it wasn't his boy.

  • In the final scene, the jurors are shown putting their coats on and exiting the building. Juror 8 decided to help out Juror 3. Juror 8 also notices his surroundings and how the rain finally stopped.
