- Parvana goes to the marketplace alone to get food, it felt weird for her being there without father.
- Is that all you've bought?Wheres the rice?
- When Parvana tries to buy fruits and vegetables, a Taliban Soldier starts to confront and chase her.

- Parvana arrives home and Nooria is disappointed how the only thing Parvana bought was bread
- They ran out of water so Parvana had to refill the water tank.It took 7 trips back and forth from the water tap. While Parvana was bringing the water, Ms Weera would motivate Parvana.
- The water gets boiled and Parvana drinks a lot of it because she is thirsty after bringing up the water.
