- (Reading a letter from Macbeth) "They met me in the day of our victory, I havelearned from the King's messenger that i will be the rightful king of Cawdor, for this thought that i have delivered, rejoice my dearest of love, farewell". He is ambitious but I'm afraid his purest of heart will be a hindrance of his kingship...
- what is it that you have come in our palace?
- why so soon? for it i cannot prepare.
- The King will arrive here tonight
- Inside the castle at peace is Lady Macbeth reading a letter from Macbeth stating that he will be hailed King as told by the witches when they met at their battle's victory
- I am proud that you have been selected but shouldn't we take care of how will we handle King Duncan first.
- My love, I will be hailed as a King as he witches have said after our victory.
- A messenger was sent by Macbeth himself to report that he will come home and that King Duncan is on his way to
- King Duncan will come here, Macbeth will be the king should I intervene and do the dirty work or should i have faith and leave it to Macbeth
- As the Messenger arrives he immediately informed Lady Macbeth that the King will takeoff and ride towards the castle and also he mentioned that Macbeth is on his way home.
- Good, but i don't think he will see tomorrow's sunrise
- King Duncan will leave tomorrow at sunrise
- As Macbeth arrived, he and Lady Macbeth immediately talked about how he became king and how would he act as one and how to execute things.
- Lady Macbeth is doubting Macbeth as a King mainly because of his pure heart where in that case he cannot sacrifice and do the dirty work as what a King should do. To protect and expand its territory and resources. So she plans herself to do the dirt work.
- Macbeth tells his wife that King Duncan will leave tomorrow, Then lady Macbeth immediately responded that he will no longer last until sunrise
