Storyboard Text

  • Mohan was in his room, trying to do his homerwork when his sister secretly observed him.
  • Ugh! Why is it so hard to just find some ways to preserve natural vegetation!? Wait...of course! I will just look up some ways in google and write it down and then i will spend the rest of my time playing video games!
  • No, you need to understand the importance of preserving natural vegetation! I will teach you the importance and i'm sure you will change your mind after i do.
  • So, here starts Priya's and Mohan's conversation on this topic.
  • Fine! I'll listen to you. So, what is natural vegetation and how exactly do we "affect it?"
  • Natural vegetation means the plants grow naturally without any human activity to be done to it. Humans impact it by the building of dams and irrigation canals for the purpose of providingwater and for agriculture. Human used to plant seeds and grow them by their own. But nowadays everything is easy as farmers have tractors, bullocks and many other modern devices forthe development of the environment.
  • Continuation....
  • Oh, so that's natural vegetation. And, now i know how we affect it. But, there are only these many things that we do which affect it so it's no problem!
  • As if! There are more ways we affect it too! Such as you may have seen peoplecutting trees for making furnitures, sports goods and many other things. Do you think it is good? The advantage is that you maybe comfortable with all the furnitures and sports goods for your daily needs. But the disadvantage is that if you cut trees the amount of oxygen in the air will reduce and carbondioxide willincrease resulting Global Warming.
  • ----------------------
  • But this time, Mohan stays silent as he knew his sister was right.
  • ........
  • For example, in China they produce over a million tonnes of carbon dioxide which is really harmfulthe nature. The roots of plants firmly bind the soil and that is why the soil is stable enough. But if we cut the trees then the soil becomes loose resulting in soil erosion.
  • -----------------------------
  • But this time, Mohan stays silent as he knew his sister was right.
  • Thank you Priya, for enlightening me about this. I didn't know how much we affected natural vegetation . I will also try to raise awareness to preserve it.
  • It's good that you understood the importance and how we affect it. So, we all should reduce the factors for this and I hope you will too make progress to preserve it.
  • -----------------------------
  • So, what are you all waiting for! Preserve natural vegetation by avoiding all the factors for it so you can make the Earth a much better place!
