- The Flight of Icarus.By:Sally Benson
- Hi, my name is Daedalus. I am a genius inventor.
- Exposition
- Daedalus was a genius inventor He worked for a king and made up inventions for him.
- Rising action.
- One day he made up an invention that went terribly wrong. He made a half bull have human. he was very dangerous. They had to put him in this maze that Daedalus made.
- Conflict
- The king punished him for this. He sent him and his son to the top of the castle. Daedalus had an idea on how to escape.
- Dad, how will we escape
- Climax
- Icarus! Get down from there. You will die.
- Daedalus genius idea is was to make human like feathers to fly away. He collected bird feathers to fly away. They began there flight. Daedalus told his son Icarus, dont fly to high are it will melt the wax of the wings and dont fly to low or the wind will blow to hard and knock you down. Keep a moderate height.
- Icarus felt to much like a god. He went higher and higher. But like his father warned him it will melt the wax of the wings. He slowly fell lower and lower to his death.
- Falling action
- Resolution
- Like Daedalus warned his son not to fly to high or the wax of the wings will melt. In honor of his son he built a temple to remember this day
