- Melanie Stevens is a history teacher at a high school. She's married to a man that's unfaithful and not supportive of her goals and dreams. But she keeps the faith that God will intervene in her marriage.
- Climax
- I did it!
- Melanie hears about a VP position opening up at her school, She and another teacher Mr. Sneed want the position. She also has the opportunity to start a group therapy session with a few kids at the school. Something she always wanted to do.
- Falling Action
- I'd be honored to take the position
- Although Melanie's marriage isn't getting better. Her group sessions with the kids are life changing. The students really like Melanie and have better attitudes. Little do they know... Mr. Sneed is thinking of a way to end their group meetings for good.
- Resolution
- This is unbelievable!
- Melanie's husband leaves her and Mr. Sneed finds a way to end her group sessions with the students.
- Melanie is left in a depressive state. Giving Mr. Sneed the advantage of giving an impressive interview.
- The students encourage Melanie to go to her interview by sharing all there encouraging stories. The person interviewing her over hears the students stories and makes a decision on the spot to hire her on as Principal of the school. Due to the present principal leaving the school regarding personal matters.
