- Gaius convinced Marcus to deliver bread to people. However, Marcus has no idea he is actually bribing people to vote for Caesar. Marcus wants to go back to school but he wants to please his cousin so he does it.
- Marcus was a little suspicious as why the people wanted the bread that was stale and old.
- Marcus was confused as why the noble was so nervous and Cicero was suspicious and angry. He didn't know what to do.
