  • Uh no? I thought we voted for the leader.
  • Have you voted for a member in parliament yet? It's our duty as citizens 
  • Oh that makes so much more since thanks Addy.
  • In this parliamentary democracy in Israel, citizens in a presidential democracy vote for leaders. We vote for political parties in the parliament. Then the political party chooses the leader in the group and becomes prime minister if they get the most votes.

  • Have you done the new feedback survey? Since we live in Saudi Arabia we cant vote.
  • Wait? Why can't we vote here in Saudi Arabia?

  • Since Saudi Arabia is a autocratic monarchy. So our leader is a king, and gets passed down by heirs. Instead of voting like in a democracy government we do things like volunteering, surveys, and some are able to give ideas on funding!

  • It's so nice that you've visited from Israel to Turkey! I heard you're having voting season over there! What presidential candidate are you going for?
  • Oh in Israel we have a parliamentary government so we don't vote for the leader. Tell her Forrest.
  • In Turkey you have a presidential democracy where you vote for president/leader. In Israel we have a parliamentary democracy. So we vote for members of Parliament. Once the votes come in they see which political group has the most votes. Then they choose one leader out of that group to be our prime minister/leader.
