  • Rome was greatly influenced by Etruscan in engineering. Arches and cuniculus were the adaptions that the Romans used. Building these, lead to the Romans create even more advanced structures.

  • Sporting events were also influenced by Etruscan. The first sport is slave fighting, where they would have slaves fight to the death. The second sport was chariot races in which two people charged at each other on horses, which lead to injury or death.

  • Greek architecture is another borrowed idea. Some also borrowed from Etruscans. Their buildings and carvings had inspired many other buildings, stadiums, and more.
  • Religion
  • Writing from Greek largely influenced Rome's alphabet, but before the Etruscans borrowed it first. Then the Romans changed the Etruscan alphabet. Still, the Greek and Roman alphabet have lots of similarities.
  • Roman art usually was borrowed from the Greeks or used ideas from Etruscan. Although, Greek art was highly admired by both the Romans and Etruscans. The influence from the Greeks was so high to the Romans that historians called it "Greco-Roman" art.
  • In the beginning, Romans had their own religion, ideas, and gods. As time went on, the Roman religion evolved after combining and taking part from other religions. Such as the Greek god Zeus.
