- Commander in chief
- This is an example on the presidents roles of commander in chief and head or foreign policys. The commander in chief role is how the president opperates the U.S. military as shown in my slide. Head of foreign policys is where the president make treaties and talks with foreign laders as shown in this slide also. A benefit of being POTUS is the secret service for the rest of their life and for their family.

- I am Gavin Newsom, the governor of California, and I pardon you from state prison.
- I appoint you to be the head of the EVP.

- In my slide I show and example of the governors powers to pardon people from state prison and to appoint officials. The power to grant pardon is bacically ending or shortening someones criminal sentence. Governors can only pardon people from state prison. The other power shown which is the power to appoint officials is when the governor can appoint cabinate members, judges, or agency heads as shown.

- Hi I am Eric Adams the mayor of new york city, and I appoint you to the FBI.
- Everyone under the age of 18 years must be inside from 6 pm to 6am.
- I am issuing and emergency cerfew.
- This slide shows the examples of the mayors jobs, issuing emergency cerfews and appointing officials. The power to issue emergency cerfews for the town or city is when the mayor can make sure that everyone is inside if there is a threat or something else anolong those lines. Appointing officials is another one of the Mayors jobs so he can appoint officials to be heads of departments and so on and so for.
