- Hello everyone! today we will learn about: What is a stock, What is a ticker symbol, and What does a stock quote include
- If the company does well, then you earn money but, if it does bad you lose money!
- What is a stock?A stock is part of a company that anyone/anybody can buy! You can sell or buy stocks too!

- Now lets move on to what is a ticker symbol! A ticker symbol is a unique, short combination of letters to represent a company so people can find the company easier when buying stocks
- Ticker symbols are usually 1-5 letters, but sometimes they can have numbers too!
- When a company enters the stock market they pick a ticket symbol and get it approved by the exchange!

- Now lets move on to What does a stock quote include. A stock quote includes a real-time snapshot of a company's market performance, including its current price, daily price change, ticker symbol, and trading volume.
- A stock quote can also include last traded price, day's range, and 52-week range!
- A stock quote is the highest price a buyer is willing to pay (bid) and the lowest price a seller is willing to accept (ask) for a specific security at a given time.
