- beowulf sails to heorot
- grendel loses his arm to beowulf
- Grendels mother attacked heorot
- I want Revenge!
- Beowulf gets a letter from hrothgar asking for help in defeating grendel. a monster who has been terrorising the people in heorot. so beowulf decides that he will help for fame and glory and sails to heorot.
- Beowulf kills grendels mother in the underwater cave
- When grendel attacks the mead hall for the last time. beowulf is ready for him. when grendel attacks beowulf uses no weapons to rip his arm off. grendel runs away back to where he came from.
- Hygelac dies in battle
- ouch
- Grendels mother attacks heorot to avenge her son. This causes more panic in the mead hall and the men are no longer safe and secure from monsters.
- beowulf dies
- Beowulf dives down to the cave under the lake, he has to swim through sea monsters along the way to get to the cave. but when he starts fighting Grendel's mother. he realizes that his sword cannot damage Grendel's mother. He finds a sword in the cave and uses it to defeat Grendel's mother.
- Hygelac dies in battle and his son Heardred inherits the throne, with beowulf, but Heardred also dies and Beowulf becomes the king of the Geats.
- Beowulf slays the dragon in the cave to protect his people and also for glory. in their fight the dragon poisions beowulf with his famgs and the poision ends up killing beowulf. wiglaf finishes off the dragon by buying the sword deeper into the dragons belly. burning his hand in the process. as beowulf is dieing he tells wiglaf to lead his people.
