for lots of farmers it was grest news for the railway to be built because that meant farmers could sellcrops and materals faster,that meant more profits. lots of farmers were immagrants, they came from all around the world, because of war and problems in there country, so they wernt very ritch, they came to sell crops and build a new life in canada.
