- THe reason why the theme of this chapter is hope is because George and Lenniw have hope that they will get a barn or some farmland
- Chapter 4. Discrimation
- The reason the the of this chapter is learning is because we are learning about the boss and about the farm and candy .
- Chapter 5, Death
- And when they were gone, Candy squatted down in the hay and watched the face of Curley's wife. "Poor bastard," he said softly.
- The reason the genre is violence is because Curly beats up Lennie but from there Lennie breaks Curlys hand which makes Curly in pain. Another reason is that Candy dog was shot in the head.
- Chapter. 6 Remorse
- The reason that this chapter genre was discrimination is because Curlys wife was being discriminating against Crooks what she also is saying is that she will kill him.
- She turned on him in scorn. "Listen, *BEEP*," she said. "You know what I can do to you if you open your trap?"
- The reason that this chapter genre is death is because Lennie kills Curleys Wife which causes a problem between the men. In this scene Candy loos at Curlys Wife with pity.
- The reason this chapter is remorse because Lennie remorse killing his pup, George remorse killing Lennie and Curly grieves for his wife
