There was a 7-2 Supreme Court ruling in favor of Roe stating that the right to an abortion is protected by the Constitution.

After the Supreme Court ruling in Roe v. Wade, lower courts now have to follow that a women's privacy to abortion is protected under the 9th and 14th amendment, and that the choice is now between a woman and her doctor.
You can't have an abortion!!
Well actually, it legally is not your choice.
Because of the successful ruling in favor Roe, Women now had full protection in to getting an abortion and this case impacted America greatly along with Women's rights.
