- "I thought you wanted to be a spy?"
- "Mom! I want to be a ticket seller when I grow up!"
- Will they accept her at the new school? I'm worried.
- "I've changed my mind. I'm going to be a part of the street musicians."
- "Your daughter disrupts my whole class, I must ask you to take her to another school".
- What on earth did Totto-Chan do to disrupt the whole class? She just started school.
- Totto-chan and her mother got off the Oimachi train at Jiyugaoka Station. Totto-chan was reluctant to give up the precious ticket she was clutching because she had hardly ever been on a train before.
- "She opens and shuts her desk hundreds of time, she always standing up at the window."
- "What exactly does she do?"
- Mother was worried that Totto-Chan's new school would not accept her because although Totto-Chan had only just started school, she had already been expelled.
- "You have to be nice and polite to the headmaster so you can be accepted into this school."
- "Mother, is that really a train! There, in the school grounds! I like this school a lot!"
- Last week, Totto-Chan's homeroom teacher told Mother to take Totto-Chan to another school.
- "Congratulations! Now you're a pupil of this school."
- Mother asked Totto-chan's homeroom teacher about her daughter's behavior at school. Then, the teacher started to explain.
- Totto-chan stopped when she saw the gate of the new school simply consisted of two rather short posts that still had twigs and leaves on them. Then, she saw a train on the school grounds.
- Totto-Chan told the headmaster about herself. After that, the headmaster congratulated Totto-chan because she was now a pupil at the school.
