- Hello class, today we are getting new spelling words for the week. Tonight for homework I want you to write them all down and sound them out
- Homework time
- Okay Amy, can you spell out one of you're new words you learned today and use it in a sentence for me?
- W-H-E-N"When are we going to the store?"
- Each morning Amys dad drops her off at school, on there way her dad likes to quiz her on her flash cards making sure she is having constant communication. This ensures that her language development is growing, and she is on track where she needs to be.
- Bedtime
- Good night honey, we love you
- At school Amy learns 10 new spelling words for the week. She will learn the definition of each and how to spell and sound them out. This will allow Amy to use these new words that she learned throughout her day.
- Amy and her mom go over her spelling words, making sure she understands the definitions and how to properly use them. Continuing to help her do this she will learn them and be able to use them in her daily vocabulary.
- Amys parents end the night each night with a story, after Amys asks different questions about the reading. Continuing to do this each night gives room for her to connect new words and what they mean.
