Storyboard Text

  • It is my lady. Oh, it is my love!
  • Oh Romeo, Romeo why do you have to be Romeo? Tis but thy name that is my enemy. Be but sworn my love, and i'll no longer be a Capulet
  • What's in the name? That which we call a roes by any other name would smell as sweet.
  • Shall I hear more, or shall I speak at this?
  • Romeo decides to take a stroll next tp the Capulets house after eavesdropping Mercurio and Benvolio's conversation. As he is walking outside of the Capulet house Juliet walks onto her balcony.
  • I take thee at thy word. Call me but love, and I'll be new baptized. Henceforth I never will be Romeo
  • My ears have not yet drunk a hundred words of that tongue's uttering, yet I know the sound.
  • Juliet starts to ponder her thoughts out loud not knowing Romeo can hear and is listening. Juliet starts to tell herself that if Romeo ever swears his love to Juliet, she will become a Montague. 
  • If they do see thee, they will murder thee.
  • My life were better ended by their hate than death prorogued, wanting love.
  • Though then Juliet starts to think why a name should changes everything if one would still be the same person.
  • Dost thou love me? I know thou wilt say "ay" and I will take thy word. Yet if thou swear'st thou mayst prove false. O gentle Romeo, If thou dost love, pronounce it faithfully
  • Lady by yonder blessed moon I vow
  • Romeo presents himself to Juliet and explains how if Juliet were to say that she loves Romeo, he will forever change his name to be with Juliet. Then without even looking at Romeo, Juliet tells Romeo how she can already recognize him just by the sound of his voice though he has not yet even spoke a hundred words.
  • Next Juliet realizes that if anyone sees Romeo they will murder him. Romeo replies by telling Juliet he would rather die that to live without her love.
  • Juliet wants to know if Romeo truly loves her if he is willing to die for her so Juliet asks Romeo to swear his love for her. To that, Romeo begins a vow of love.
