Chapter 7 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians
Storyboard Text
- In the beginning of Chapter 7, Annabeth is showing Percy around the camp. When Annabeth was done showing Percy around the camp, Percy apologized about what had happened in the bathroom but Annabeth told Percy that he should talk to the Oracle. Annabeth explains that Percy is not a regular human, that he is a half-blood and that explains why Percy is "mentally disturbed." Annabeth explains to Percy that the reason he is a Demi-god is because his father is one of the Olympians, and that most half-bloods have parents that are gods.
- In the middle of the Chapter, Percy heads to Cabin 11, and while waiting for dinner he realizes that most of the campers have similar features to some of the gods. Luke, one of the counselors heads over to Percy and gives him a sleeping bag. Percy asks Luke if his dad is Hermes and Luke tells him that he is a son of Hermes, Luke says that he has only seen his dad once. Percy tells Luke what Annabeth had told him about talking to the Oracle, Luke explains to Percy that Annabeth has a prophecy that she has to wait until someone special arrives to the camp so she can go on a quest.
- Towards the end of Chapter 7, Percy heads to the mess hall with other people. In the cafeteria there are tables for each cabin. When everyone got food they went to the fire because the gods like the smell of burning food. So Percy got up and put his food near the fire.
