- Curley's wife
- Physical appearance: Curlets wife is young, pretty, with red fingernails, red lips and black sausage curled hair
- "I get awful tired sittin' around here with nothin' to do but watch Curley beat up bums. I tell you, I get tired of it. I'm young and pretty. I oughta be someplace where I can have some fun" - Ch 3
- Character traits: Curleys wife is flirty and desperate for attention. She is also manipulative. However, she feels lonely in the inside.
- George
- "Lennie, I'll get you that ranch. We'll have our own place, and we'll live off the fatta the lan'. Just the two of us and nobody else" - Ch 6
- Physical appearance: George is short, tanned, has sharp features and strong hands.
- Charcater traits: George is intelligent, compassionate, and protective of Lennie, he sees him as a elder brother.
- Crooks
- "A man can lose his mind easy enough," ... "Sometimes he can lose it in five minutes. Sometimes it takes years. But once he loses it, he ain't got nothin' left. Nobody never got Crooks' mind. I'm keepin' my mind" - Ch 4
- Personality traits: Crooks is realistic, a pessimist even. He is not an open person, however, it is revealed that he feels lonely.
- Physical appearance: Crooks is dark skined man with a crooked back.
