- No, your son did all of those bad things.
- But my son said Charles did so many bad things.
- Yes there is. You just can't see him. He's my imaginary friend who tells me to do all those things.
- So I talked to your teacher today and she said that there is no Charles in your school.
- So, Charles didnt do all those bad things. Our son did. He said that Charles is imaginary and that Charles told him to do all those things.
- Oh my gosh. I had no idea. I think that we should punish him because those things were very bad.
- So it turns out that there is no Charles. Charles was just a made up person or a person to blame all those things on. It turns out that Laurie did all of those bad things. So his mother is probably very mad.
- So it truns out that Charles is a person, but not a real person. So Laurie did do all of those things, but he claims that Charles told him to. So Charles is his imaginary friend. So when he comes home and tells all of those storys hes really telling his parents what he did.
- Lauries mom is telling her husband about how Charles isn't real. Lauries dad is mad and thinks Laurie should get punished. So Laurie is prbably going to be in big trouble for lying about Charles.
