- The first people to live in Rome were the Latins. Rome was located in Italy. The Greeks were a major part of the Romans culture. They learned some of their culture from the Greeks.
- The Etruscan Influence of Sports on the Romans
- A princess gave birth to twins named Romulus and Remus. Her uncle had his men drown them in the Tiber River. Before they drowned a wolf saved them. They grew up and started their own civilization called Rome.
- The Greek Influence of Architecture on the Roman Civilization
- The Romans became great builders by taking after the Etruscans. Two of the very important structures they remodeled were arch and the cuniculus. Once the Romans remodeled these they better builders than the Estruscans.
- The Greek Influence of Writing, Art, and Religion on the Romans
- The Romans had two differnt sports that they did. The first one they did was slave fighting. The would fight until death to entertain the people. The second one they did was chariot races. The drivers were strappted into the chariots and raced until death.
- The Romans homes for the gods were made out of marble. The Romans used the Greeks designs to make their own buildings. The Romans made a Colosseum where gladiators faught.
- The Romans took the alphabet from the Greeks and Etruscans then altered it. The Romans had a form of art that was partly their own and partly Greeks. They called it Greco-Roman art. The Romans had the same gods as the Greeks but, they renamed them.
