Storyboard Text

  • I know this individual has a revoked permit due to our last encounter.
  • You're under arrest for operating a motor vehicle with a revoked permit.
  • Officer Jenks proceeded to conduct a search on Robinson and found a crumpled cigarette box that contained heroin in the pocket of Robinson's shirt.
  • Robinson was charged with possession of heroin. Robinson believed that the officer searched him unconstitutionally, and it went against his Fourth Amendment right because he was searched with out probable cause.
  • The judge denied Robinson's appeal and said that Officer Jenks conducted a valid search due to arrest, which is an exception to the Fourth Amendment.
