- Portia comes in the courtroom disguised as Baltszahar and tells Shylock to do it, Shylock is confused
- You take my life when you take the means whereby I live
- Portia says that if Shylock that if one blood drop will come out from Antonio than all of his goods will be confiscated according to the law
- We will show mercy on you, only if you follow three conditions

- Portia tells Shylock that he should do it so that justice will be held. Shylock realizes that its not worth it and tries to retreat and get the 9000 ductas insstead
- Portia pulls out more laws against what Shylock is going to do, saying that his all his property will be taken away and she won't allow Shylock to back out of the bond. She leaves up what to do next to Antonio
- You should beg the Duke
- Antonio says that Shylock has to follow these three conditions, 1. that he gets half of his goods until Shylock's death 2. That Shylock has to fully convert into Christianity 3. That Shylock will leave all his money to Jessica and Lorenzo
