- Odysseus asks Tiresias how he can get home to Ithaca.
- I've been stuck on and island and faced numerous hardships while trying to get home. I feel that I might be getting there soon.

- Once Odysseus is told that the reason for his troubles is because Poseidon is angry, Tiresias warns him about the difficulties of his journey home.
- I need to go back to Circe's and retrieve my men to start our voyage home.
- Odysseus finds hos mother in the Underworld and wonders what happened to her just as she wonders where he has been.
- Odysseus explains to his mother the situations he has been put into and she starts to understand.
- Odysseus makes his way back to Circe's island to get his men and tell them what comes next.
