  • In this scene, Officer David Johnson is accusing this man of vandalizing the wall. He is using his 5th amendment right of not answering questions that make him look guilty. He asks the police officer for his name, and knowing who accused him is a part of due process.
  • Who is accusing me? What's your name?
  • I plead the 5th!

  • Did you draw that graffiti? That's illegal!
  • In this scene you can see that the defendant has the right of trial by jury, which is part of due process.The defendant though, has already gone through this same case before, so this breaks his double jeopardy right.
  • We have found new evidence that this scumbag stole money from our bank account.
  • Even though there is new evidence against the defendant, he can't go to trial for the same crime because that would be double jeopardy.
  • WOOHOO!!
  • In this scene, you can see that the the man's 5th amendment rights are upheld. The government is paying him to use his land for the good of the public.
