  • There was a rock who was traveling around the world to see all the different types of rocks, first we are going to see an igneous rock in Kilauea, Hawaii the magma cools which then turns in to crystallization.
  • Wow that is so cool!
  • 🌎
  • Deep into earth the rocks melt into magma, it eventually rises and the magma pushes through the earths surface. The earths interior energy drives from melting, deformation, and crystallization
  • Now we are in the rocky mountains which is a metamorphic rock. The igneous rock uplifts to the top of the mountain, then starts weathering into sediments.
  • Now I know how a metamorphic rock forms!
  • Metamorphic rocks form when rocks are subjected to high heat, high pressure, hot mineral fluids or, more commonly, some combination of these factors. The heat and pressure from in the ground rises up
  • (Heat and pressure)
  • Now we are at the some place in the great plains and how that works is the sediment from the top of the mountain has erosion and moves down and compacts cements into a sedimentary rock.
  • Thats it about the three rocks!
  • Gravity driven processes, like slides, slumps, and flows in a mountain.
  • ⬇️
  • ☀️
  • Sedimentary rocks are formed from pre existing rocks or pieces of rock.
