- After Mr. Scratch chases Mia and she gets her foot stuck in a trap, he leaves her to die. He goes back to his den. A few days later, he hears scratching and finds a moldy paw in his den. He gets rid of it, but it comes back.
- The Snow Ghost
- Mr. Scratch finds bloody footprints that lead him to a cave. He shouts out for Uly to face him. The bats that are in the ceiling, wake up.
- The Snow Ghost
- The hundreds of bats come down on Mr.Scratch, ripping him apart. Uly and Mia come out of hiding.
- The Snow Ghost
- Uly's mom is free now to go back to his sisters. She says goodbye to Uly and tells him she is proud of him before she leaves. Now Uly and Mia leave the Lilac Kingdom and go into the forest. Uly's three paws and Mia being injured, make it hard for them to move fast. It starts to snow and they are very cold.
- They find a burrow that has five little baby foxes. There mother is dead. Uly and Mia decide they will take care of the foxes. Uly leaves to find food for all of them.
- Uly finds buried mice for them to eat. He is going home, when Mr. Scratch jumps on him. Uly hurts Mr. Scratch in a wound on this chest and gets away.
