- Hopefully there will be someone good on jackson's island to help me find food.
- Of course I want, Jim! Let's go tomorrow when it gets dark
- Jim, what are you doing on Jackson's Island?
- You can always go north, slaves are prohibited there.
- That's a great idea Finn, do you want to join me?
- I've escaped from Widow Douglas, I don't want to be a slave anymore.
- Okay, now let's light a fire, I want to tell you my story.
- Finn, I'll start from the first day I opened my eyes, the day a slave gave birth to a son just as tied to his master.
