- Banquo needs to be taken care of. Remember what I have done for you, and how Banquo is your enemy. He is mine too, and every minute he is alive it threatens my reign. You must also kill his son Fleance, who will be with him
- This scene is important because it is Macbeth orchestrating the death of his best friend. This betrayal is arguably worse than Duncans. He is doing all of this in order to try and prevent Banquo's family from taking power.

- They must succeed in order to prevent a line of Banquo born kings.

- We have merely burnt the snake, and it will come back to bite us. It would be better to be dead than live with this.
- You should not keep treading on what has been done, for things without fix should be out of mind. What is done has been done.
- Banquo must be killed in order to prevent anything from happening to my reign
- He needs to stop worrying about his actions.
- This scene is important because its shows that despite committing the actions, Macbeth still feels nervous of the retributions that may follow. Lady Macbeth is the opposite of this and tells him to get over it, which is ironic because she ends her life because of the actions they committed.
- Slide: 3
- This scene is important because it is the death of one of the main characters. This signifies the greatest betrayal that Macbeth will make, and show how far the once great and beloved Macbeth has fallen
- I must escape to avenge my father
