HAMARTIA: tragic error,frailty3.3.78-80, Hamlet decides not to kill Claudius while he is praying and to do so when he is committing a sin. This expresses a missed opportunity from Hamlet to strike revenge on Claudius for his father.

PERIPETEIA: When Hamlet finally learns the truth about the ghost and is told that he must take revenge on Claudius for killing his Father. This communicates Hamlet's reversal in fate/fortune when he is cursed with a fate that he doesn't want to accept.
