- The Fench and Indian War was from 1754-63 and was between the French and Great Britan. Yet the 7 year War was from 1756-63. They faught to determin control of the vast colonial territory of North America.
- The French and Indian War initally began over the specific issue of if the Upper Ohio RIver vally was part of the British Empire, and therfore oped for trade and settlement by Virginians and Pennsylvanians, or part of the French Empire. Yet behind the issue had loomed a much larger problem. Which natinal culture was to dominate were in preponderance in the coveted area, but the French explored, traded and made alliances with the Native Americans.
- The French and Indian War is one of the most signifigane, yet widley forgotten events in American history. This was between the French and the British and in the end the British forces had defeted the French forces in India. and in 1754 British armies invaded and conquered Canada.
