- I seem to be too drunk to get myself home. My designated driver already left and it would be at least 30 miles to get to my house from here. What will I do?
- I could ask a friend to come get me but I don't wanna impose because I am 30 miles away and it would be a lot to ask of them.
- I could ask the girl who said her friend could take me home later. The problem is she's been drinking and I know not to get in the car with a drunk driver.
- Lastly, I could call my parents and ask them to come get me. Although they will be very angry with me, eventually they'll forgive me. It's also better they know I'm in safe hands.
- I think the best choice is the third solution. The only consequence with that choice is getting in trouble with his parents temporarily. The first solution wouldn't be bad but he is better off already telling his parents his situation and his friend may not wanna drive all the way out to get him. The second solution would have a long term consequence because he would have to risk getting in a potential car accident or getting pulled over by the cops. Therefore, choosing the third solution his parents will see him as more mature for making that decision over the others.
