For example, Lily is crying and her mother is their to show her comfort and affection which allows Lily to establish trust in her mother.
  • During Erikson's second psychosocial development stage, toddlers will start to develop self control and will begin to be more vocal about their own likings and skills. For example, Lily tells her mom that she likes pizza and wants it for lunch. Her mom agrees with Lily.
