The Psyche
Storyboard Text
- Jem is a vigilante named The Psyche. They have to fight their former friends now turned turn villains by the supervillain Amnesiac that recruited them.
- Jem can control neurotransmitters, mess with memory (the Hippocampus), slow the limbic system down, mess with vision (Occipital Lobe), and effect someone's ability to move (Cerebellum).
- This is Jem! Jem is 16, goes by they/them pronouns, like to skate, and THEY HAVE SUPERPOWERS!
- Bye mom!
- On a normal day, Jem woke up, boosted their mom's serotonin, and made breakfast. They said bye to their mom then left for school.
- Bye sweetheart!
- Though Jem felt like they were being followed on the way to school, they brushed it off and finally arrived to their first and favorite class, psychology!
- Psychology!
- Jem had no choice but to fight their friends so they lowered their adrenaline and slowed their limbic systems to limit their impulsivity and Jem made them unable to move.
- Shut up!
- I don't want to fight you guys!
- Jem suddenly heard a loud noise. IT WAS AMNESIAC! He used his power of turning good memories into bad ones which turned Jem's friends into villains because they had underdeveloped and impressionable brains.
- CURSE YOU PSYCHE!!!
- Without his army, Amnesiac had no effect on Jem so Jem took away his ability to move. The police had already arrived and arrested Amnesiac and his army.
- Come on, lets go.
- We are so sorry Jem, we really weren't thinking right.
- It's ok guys, I know it wasn't your fault. Now let's have some fun!
- Yeah we didn't mean it. We really love you.
- Jem managed to save their friends and restore their good memories. Their friends apologized and they went to the skate park after such a hard day. THE END.
