  • That's why let us proceed to the Supernova Nucleosynthesis. It is the process that takes place DURING the EXPLOSION of a star.
  • Elements such as Silicon and Nickel are formed here through fast fusion!
  • On the other hand, Cosmic Ray Spallation, through deemed as quite difficult to understand, is simply the "spallation phenomenon in cosmic ray".
  • The study session is now coming to an end...
  • So it collides! That's why during this process. the heavier nuclei of carbon or oxygen can fragment into lighter elements such as Be, B, and Li, making these element more abundant here.
  • This is caused by the impact of fast protons/cosmic rays against the interstellar medium. The interstellar medium consists of materials (such as gas, dust, and fellow cosmic rays) that fill the space between the stars!
