me too I'm happy that we were able to talk. so life in syria was bad there was war and not many resources. there was lots of stuff destroyed as well. that's mostly why me and my family decided to leave

I don't mind, I ended up living in Germany with a nice lady and her husband her name was Ruthie she was also a refugee

yeah I'm glad to. but what about you what was it like in Cuba? and why did you decide to leave?
thats great to hear I'm glad everything worked out with you and your family.
cuba always had stuff going on there was wars and things like that but thats not why we decided to leave. see the ruler of Cuba's name was Fidel Castro. he was a bad man but he finally decided to let people leave because he couldn't stop them from leaving.
so me and my family decided to leave as well. we were headed to Miami Florida, it was a really hard time getting there because we had to cross the sea and then we ended up somewhere else. but we eventually made it to Miami and stayed with my dads brother, and I got to go to school with a bunch of other Cubans and I made friends.
