Storyboard Text

  • Pathos. "One hundred years later the Negro is still languished in the corners of American society and finds himself in exile in his own land."
  • Logos. "This will be the day when all of God's children will be able to sing with a new meaning."
  • "I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave-owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood."
  • It is saying that one day all of this will be over and everyone will be equal.
  • "We can never be satisfied as long as our children are stripped of their adulthood and robbed of their dignity by signs saying "For Whites Only."
  • The Emancipation Proclamation gave hope to the slaves that they would be free. One century later the negros are still in the fields getting beaten up and dying.

  • This is saying he hopes one day all the negros that were slaves or slave owners will be able to sit down with white people and call them their friends or brothers.
  • Blacks will never be satisfied if all they see are signs saying "Whites Only." Their lives will be not the same as whites and it will make a lot of depression.
  • It is time to say we are all equal and blacks and whites are no diffrent from each other they are just colors.
