Storyboard Text

  • OK, bye!
  • Bye Mark, have a good day at school!
  • My friend Terry has started smoking. I know that smoking can really hurt your body and I want to do something to help Terry. Terry keeps telling I should try it. I remember my parents telling me something about The Six Steps to Decision-Making.
  • The first step is Identifying the Problem. Well, the problem is Terry has started smoking and wants me to join him but I know how bad it is for me.
  • The second step is What are your Influences? I know my parents would be upset if I started smoking but Terry will if I don't. I think my parents are more important.
  • The third step is What are my Options? I can talk to Terry, or I can ask my parents for help.
  • The fourth step is Weigh the Options. I'm almost at school so I think I'm going to talk to Terry when I get there. If that doesn't work, I'll talk to my parents.
  • The fifth step is to Do Something!
  • You know what, you're right, I will stop smoking, I know it is bad for me and I'm sorry for trying to get you to start smoking too.
  • I think you should stop smoking because it is bad for you. So I'm not going to start smoking.
  • Hey Terry!
  • It's all good!
  • What?
  • The sixth step is How did it Go? Thanks to The Six Steps to Decision-Making, I've made my decision and solved the problem!
