In this scene, Will shows us Tomas is a villain by talking to Cia on page 240, saying to "be very careful" and "Tomas isn't the nice guy he's pretending to be," and implying that something happened when it was just the two of them, something bad. Will isn't such a great source, considering what happens later in the book, but Tomas also shows us this may be true because in the book we see him progressively become more on edge, possibly, with darker circles under his eyes, indicating he may be not sleeping because what he has done causes him to lay awake at night or possibly have too many nightmares to get a good nights rest.
Watch your back , Cia. Your friend isn't the nice guy he's pretending to be.
Zandris bracelet
diy bloody knife
In this scene, Cia finds out Tomas could be a villain because Cia see's Tomas's bloody knife. Except Tomas acts very suspicious and doesn't tell Cia what had happened. On page 241, after Cia sees Tomass bloody knife, it says, "My insides churn as I think about the testing candidate they ran into. The questions Tomas won't answer. Wills warning about Tomas not being exactly what he seems." The book is telling us that obviously Tomas has done something very bad which is why he is acting weird and not being very talkative.
What happened to Zandri?
You should know, considering her bracelet is in your bag.
