  • Battle of Lexington/Concord
  • The battle of Lexington and Concord fought on April 19, 1775.Also known as "The shot heard around the world." Neither side wanted to figh but in the middle of a confusion a gunshot went off forcing the British to attack. Some of the major figures were Colonel Smith, Major Pitcairn, and Lord Percy. For the British 73 were killed, 174 were wounded, and 26 people were missing. While the colonists had lost many minutemen and the battle was considered as a 'major military victory'. It was a pivotal moment in the American revolution.
  • The battle of Bunker Hill
  • The battle of bunker kill took place on June 17, 1775, a few months after the start of the American Revolutionary War. It took place at Charleston a neighborhood in Boston, Massachusetts. The outcome for this battle was that the American Patriots were defeated, but they had proved they could hold their own against the superior British army. Some of the major players were Samuel Birch, Major John Small, Lord Rawdon, and General William Howe.
  • Battle of Yorktown
  • The battle of Yorktown was the very last abttle of the American Revolutionary war. The british army surrendered and the British government began to consider a settlement. Their general, General Nathanael Greene had taken over command of the American Comtinental Amry located in the south. It took place from September 28-October 19, 1781. Where it took place in Yorktown, Glouces. General Lord Charles Cornwallis, General George Washington, and General Jean-Baptiste Donatien de Vimeur, played major part in the battle. American forces outnumbered and outfought the British which made them surrender. The British tried to surrernder to the French, but they made the British surrender to the Americans.
