- America won the revolutionary war against the British and became independent. And George Washington led the army that won.
- I agree. The states are too powerful we need a strong national government
- WE NEED to make a change to the Articles OF Confederation
- The American people don't want a king, so they sign the Articles of Confederation. (The articles of confederation were a series of documents made before the u.s constitution, it was later abolished because the states had too much power).
- And the winner is…. George Washington.
- The states didn’t want to pay their taxes and no one could force them to pay. Because the articles of confederation gave the states to much power.
- George Washington is definitely the best president of all time
- Everyone agrees we need one central government to rule America with limitations on their power. This was perfect for the American government, but they didn’t want a tyrant with too much power, however they also had to have someone who could enforce the laws.
- There was an election held and the majority voted for George Washington to become the president. There was 68 votes for Washington and second place was John Adams with 25 votes he became Vice President and later the 2nd president of the United States.
- Yay we love you Washington!

- Washington was such a legendary first president that there were monuments built of him and people still talk about him today.
