- We are the masters of the Fur Trade!
- The British merchants took control of the Fur Trade networks out of Montreal. Britain became the master of the Fur Trade North America after it took control of New France in the 1760's.
- The Fur Trade is ours now! Off you go!

- During phase 5, the competition between both groups led to violence. Britain ended the conflict in 1821 by encouraging companies to merge.

- During the final phase of the Fur Trade, HBC lost a court case independent traders. Britain was worried Americans would use economic connections to gain control of Rupert's Land.
- Phase 5HBC began to lose control of the monopoly
- I knew this would happen.
- I can't believe we lost the court case.
