Aguan the water drop is currently a part of an iceberg, but he wont be for long!
Hi everyone! I am Aguan the water drop. I want to show you a day in my job as part of the water cycle.
I am currently part of an iceberg and I am just waiting for the sun to come out so I can melt.
Aguan has now changed from his former solid( an iceberg) state to a liquid (water). This change is called Melting.
Finally! The suns out and I am starting to melt. Right now I am just sliding down the iceberg into the water.
Now I have melted and joined the water. Now the sun will help us again by producing solar radiation in order to turn me into gas form.
Aguan as turned from a liquid (water) to a gas (water vapor) this water vapour will now travel to the troposphere
I have now changed forms. I once was a liquid and now I am a gas. This process is called Evaporation
FUN FACT: The troposhere is the closest sphere to the earth and is where clouds are!!!
Whew! That was a journey! Now that I have made it here it is time to condense!
Aguan has now condensed from a gas (water vapor) into a more tightly packed gas (the cloud). This happens when the invisible gas (water vapor) turns into liquid droplets and these liquid droplets group together and form on tiny particles such as dust, floating in the air.
I have now transferred from my former gas state into a more dense gas. This process is called condensation. This means that I am now part of a cloud!
