- Yes, and I get there sooner then you think. I'll run you a race and prove it.
- You stupid tortoise, you are so slow. Do you even get anywhere?
- Ha! A race? you should watch out! I'm winning! Fox! you must be the judge!
- Ready.. Set.. GO!
- One day, a hare was making fun of a tortoise. So the tortoise offered a race to prove that he can get to places fast.
- The Hare agreed to run a race with the Tortoise because he found the idea amusing. A Fox agreed to serve as judge and marked the distance before starting the race.
- Soon the hare was out of sight. As for the tortoise, he was going slow and steady. and evenually the hair got so far ahead of the tortoise he decided to take a nap and wait for the tortose.
- slowly the tortoise makes his way to the finish line eventually passing up the sleeping hare!! and just before the tortoise crosses the finish line the hair wakes up and runs as fast as he can to try to beat him.
- but before the hair can get close the torsose breaks the finish line winning the race. the hair starts to go crazy.
- the tortoise tells the hair not to be arrogant and rude and tells him to respect his elders. defeated the hair walked home with his ears tucked down
