I left my pencil in the related room . I wonder how far the distance if from the shop
Well, I have a pen and paper here in my bag we can time how long it takes you to get the pencil use the equation "d= vt + 1/2 a t" to find the distance
Wow that dropped so quickly! The ball fell in 3 seconds that means the cliff is 14.7 m high. Right?
Yeah! You my friend are fast first hand
That ball had some serious velocity. Is there any way we can find out just how fast?
Well I am no Einstein but I have a solution. Using what we know we can use "v2= v1 + a t"
How do you know all these things?
Well I payed attention in school. But really it's just the laws of physics. Gravity is constant so with a little digging we can find our answers to a lot of our questions
But, what about weight? Doesn't that play a role?
Well yes of course but not in the way you think. Mass doesn't affect how fast gravity pulls it down, but rather how much air resistance affects it
Oh so weight doesn't afffect gravity but air resistance does? So we weren't accounting for air resistance then?
That's the basics! If the air is removed from the equation everything falls the same. And no calculating air resistance is a complicated process so right now focus on the basics
