- Resolution
- The general was saving him for another day’s sport! The Cossack was the cat; he was the mouse. Then it was that Rainsford knew the full meaning of terror” This shows when rainsford realizes that he is getting hunted and realizes the conflict he is in.
- Rainsford a pound hearing the hounds he “leaped Far out into the sea” this shows that he had to make this division to survival because if he stayed it would have been suicide.
