I'm Michael, I'm new to Paris and currently an architecture student. I have a positive outlook in life however, I have high living standard as well as I prioritize my well-being. I am a sociable person, I love having a community where I can feel at home.
This neighborhood seems a bit isolated and depressing for such city like Paris.
This is the neighborhood I would imagine living in in Paris.
Having a roommate is not what I expected, however since the housing is quite expensive in Paris, having a roommate makes the housing more affordable. Thus, it is important for me to get to know my roommate because I don't want to have any conflicts.
This apartment is quite old and crooked, I can hear noises from the outside easily, there's no air-condition as Paris can get very hot in the summer and I am from Denmark so it would ne miserable for me to live in such condition
Landlord should be available to deal with problems relating to the housing. It will be difficult for me to live in an apartment that the issues cannot be dealt with. It makes the place feel less secure.
The fridge is quite stinky and I have addressed the problem to the landlord but I got no reply from him.
I cannot live in a neighborhood that has only few buses and no tram, the transportation must surrounded the area where I live in as I don't have a personal vehicle.
It's not ideal if there are no supermarket, convenient stores around.
The surrounding area must be peaceful and secure, I don't want to live in an area that full of trash and sketchy people.
All in all, I am serious about my study therefore, I don't want my living space to affect my well-being and study, I would like to attend school regularly so the apartment cannot be far away from my school.
